1. Academic Responsibilities

- Teach core subjects such as:
- English
- Mathematics
- Environmental Studies (EVS)
- Plan and deliver lessons as per CBSE curriculum guidelines
- Use activity-based and experiential learning methods
- Integrate Computational Thinking (CT) and basic AI awareness where applicable
- Maintain lesson plans, worksheets, and teaching aids
- Create a safe, inclusive, and child-friendly workplace
- Manage classroom discipline with positive reinforcement techniques
- Ensure student engagement through interactive teaching methods
- Monitor attendance and daily classroom routines
- Focus on:
- Academic growth
- Emotional well-being
- Social skills
- Communication skills
- Identify learning difficulties and provide remedial support
- Encourage creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking
- Conduct regular:
- Formative Assessments
- Summative Assessments
- Maintain student records, portfolios, and progress reports
- Provide constructive feedback to students and parents
- Observe and assess Computational Thinking and problem-solving skills
- Act as the primary point of contact for parents
- Conduct Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs)
- Share regular updates on:
- Academic progress
- Behaviour
- Areas of improvement




- Organize and participate in:
- School events
- Assemblies
- Competitions
- Encourage student participation in activities beyond academics
- Maintain:
- Attendance registers
- Student records
- Assessment documentation
- Follow school policies and CBSE guidelines
- Collaborate with other teachers and coordinators

Skills & Competencies Required

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle young children with patience and empathy
- Good classroom management skills

Qualification Requirements

- Graduate with B.Ed (Bachelor of Education)
- Preference for candidates with Primary Teaching Training (PRT)
- Experience in CBSE schools is an advantage
