Position: Painter

Responsibilities:

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and filling cracks or holes.
- Apply primer, paint, varnish, and other finishes to walls, ceilings, doors, windows, and metal surfaces.
- Mix and match paint colors as per requirements.
- Use painting tools and equipment such as brushes, rollers, spray guns, and ladders safely.
- Repair and touch up damaged painted surfaces.
- Ensure proper protection of furniture, fixtures, and floors during painting work.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
- Estimate material requirements and report shortages to the supervisor.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance painting activities.

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of painting experience.
- Knowledge of interior and exterior painting techniques.
- Ability to use painting tools and equipment effectively.
- Basic understanding of safety practices and PPE usage.
- Physically fit and able to work at heights when required.
