Role Summary
The Oracle OIC Developer designs, builds,
and supports database and integration solutions on Oracle Cloud. The role focuses on Oracle Database Cloud Service (DBCS) for data structures, performance, and security, and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) for integrations between Oracle SaaS (e.g., Fusion) and on‑premise/third‑party systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and manage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) including compute, storage, networking, and identity services
- Provision and manage OCI components such as VCNs, subnets, gateways (IGW, NGW, SGW), and compartments
- Configure and maintain Network Security Groups (NSGs), security lists, and load balancers
- Monitor OCI services, manage auto-scaling , and optimize performance and cost through usage analytics
- Implement and manage IAM policies, user access controls, auditing, alerting, and logging
- Perform regular security reviews, patch management, and vulnerability mitigation
- Design and manage backup strategies, disaster recovery (DR), and cross-region replication
- Automate infrastructure tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or similar scripting tools
- Maintain version-controlled automation scripts for repeatable deployments
- Handle system upgrades, patching, and release management of OCI infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues in collaboration with application and security teams
- Contribute to building data ingestion and transformation pipelines and support proof of concepts and production implementations
- Collaborate across teams, take ownership of deliverables, and ensure high-quality output within timelines
Mandatory Skill Sets:

- 7 -10 years of overall IT experience with 5 + years of hands-on Oracle Cloud (OCI) experience
- Strong expertise in OCI Architecture, Administration, and Cloud Networking
- Experience in implementing scalable cloud solutions and infrastructure management
- Hands-on experience with security & identity management (IAM), monitoring, and optimization
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, backup strategies, and high availability architecture
- Proficiency in scripting/automation tools (PowerShell, Bash, etc.)
- Experience working with open-source tools and cloud-based data platforms
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills in cloud environments
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, and deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated capability to deliver high-quality solutions for large-scale organizations
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills
- Self-driven learner with a growth mindset and ability to work across global teams
