Job Description: Engineer Technical Support L1 (HVAC)

Primary Responsibilities:

- Installation and commissioning of smaller capacity Precision Air Conditioning (PAC) units (1 TR to 3 TR).

- Execution of soft copper piping works associated with PAC installations.

- Supervision and quality monitoring of ongoing installation of higher capacity PAC units carried out by subcontractors.

- Ensure adherence to safety standards, manufacturer guidelines, and project specifications during installation and commissioning.

- Assist in site surveys, preparation of installation plans, and coordination with project teams.

- Verify subcontractor work quality, progress, and compliance with technical standards.

- Support in troubleshooting, testing, and performance validation of PAC / HVAC systems.

- Maintain documentation of installation activities, commissioning reports, and handover records.

- Provide technical support to customers and internal teams during installation and post-commissioning phases.

- Coordinate withvendors for technical clarifications and material requirements.

Required Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of HVAC fundamentals,



PAC systems, and refrigeration cycles.

- Hands-on experience with copper piping, brazing, and leak testing.

- Familiarity with electrical connections, control wiring, and safety protocols.

- Ability to read and interpret GA drawings, room layouts, and technical schematics.

- Good communication skills for coordination with subcontractors, customers, and internal teams.

- Problem-solving ability for on-site technical issues.

- Basic computer skills for documentation, reporting, and email communication.

Qualifications:

- ITI/Diplomain Mechanical, Electrical, or HVAC specialization.

- 1–4 years of relevant experience in HVAC installation and commissioning.

- Exposure to precision cooling solutions will be an added advantage.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and safety.

- Ability to work independently and supervise subcontractors effectively.

- Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

- Solid teamwork and customer service orientation.
