Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Android xTS Certification Engineer to lead and execute Android compliance and certification testing using Google’s Compatibility Test Suites (CTS, VTS, GTS, STS). The role involves validating platform stability, system integrity, and GMS readiness across Android builds to ensure conformance with Google’s Compatibility Definition Document (CDD).

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute and maintain Android xTS test suites (CTS, VTS, GTS, STS, CTS-on-GSI).




- Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with development teams to resolve failures.
- Ensure compliance with CDD and GMS certification requirements.
- Automate test execution and report generation using Tradefed and custom scripts.
Collaborate with platform and QA teams for pre-certification readiness.
- Track and document test progress, logs, and failure trends for certification submissions.

Required Skills & Expertise:

- Solid knowledge of Android system architecture, AOSP, HALs, and Vendor partitions.
- Hands-on experience with CTS, VTS, GTS, and Tradefed harness.
- Expertise in ADB, Fastboot, Shell scripting, and Python automation.
- Good analytical and debugging skills across logcat, dmesg, and test reports.
- Exposure to GMS partner certification and Treble compliance testing.
