Role Overview

- Job Title: Program Associate - Research
- Reports To: In-charge - Research, Monitoring, and Evaluation
- Location: Head Office, Udaipur (with regular travel to rural project sites)
- Vacancies: 1
- Joining: Earliest joining is highly desirable.

Job Summary: You will plan and implement field-based research activities. This involves designing tools, supervising data collection, ensuring data quality, running analyses, and writing reports. You will work closely with community fieldworkers, program teams, and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

- Research Design: Help design research proposals, questionnaires, study protocols, and methodologies.
- Field Supervision: Coordinate and monitor field data collection, conducting spot checks and audits to ensure high ethical and quality standards.
- Data Management: Compile, clean, validate, and manage quantitative and qualitative datasets.
- Analysis & Reporting: Analyze data using statistical tools and draft research reports, briefs, and presentations.
- Coordination: Manage project logistics, handle administrative tasks, and collaborate across internal departments.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Master’s degree in Development Studies,



Economics, Statistics, Public Policy, Social Work, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in primary research, field coordination, and data analysis is required.

Skills Required

- Technical: Strong skills in quantitative and qualitative data analysis. Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is essential; working knowledge of Stata or R is highly preferred.
- Core: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working in rural development contexts.
- Desirable: Experience with GIS, large datasets, or writing policy briefs and publications.
