Role: SAP SD Consultant (techno functional)

Experience: 6+ years

Location: Bangalore - Whitefield (Hybrid)

Responsibilities:

- SAP SD Expertise:
- Deep understanding of Sales and Distribution (SD) processes, including pricing, material master, inventory management, and Available to Promise (ATP) functionality.
- Migration & Integration: Participate in SAP migration and integration projects, preferably with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- SAP Implementation & Support: Contribute to SAP implementation, support, and governance activities.
- Functional Specification & Development:
- Design functional specifications for reports, interfaces, enhancements, workflows, and forms.
- Modify, test, and implement SAP application software to align with business needs.
- Problem-Solving & Optimization:
- Leverage SAP expertise to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose efficient solutions.
- Perform unit, system, integration, and regression testing throughout project lifecycles.
- Business Collaboration & Process Enhancement:
- Work closely with business and IT teams to optimize sales, operations, and customer support processes.
- Engage with end-users to gather requirements and ensure process improvements align with business objectives.
- Collaborate with global sales and operations teams to standardize business processes.
- Continuous Improvement:



Evaluate potential process enhancements and oversee their implementation.
- Cross-Functional Understanding: Analyze dependencies and impacts on neighboring business functions to drive holistic solutions.

Required Skills & Knowledge

- SAP Proficiency:
- Strong expertise in SAP SD module functionalities.
- Understanding of SAP ABAP coding constructs within SD processes (ABAP development skills are a plus).
- Interest in developing basic debugging skills for SAP ABAP/4 code (developer-level expertise not required).
- Project Execution & Management:
- Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks, and deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Communication & Collaboration:
- Solid communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to present information effectively to small teams (36 people).
- Comfortable interacting with staff across different organizational levels.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving:
- Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve critical system and process issues.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud.
- Familiarity with global operations and process standardization across international teams.
- Experience in process improvement initiatives.
