The role requires robust technical skills, physical stamina, and adherence to safety and environmental standards.Key Responsibilities Installation: Set up new residential or commercial AC units, connecting wiring, refrigerant lines, and ductwork according to manufacturer specifications.Diagnostics: Use specialized tools (multimeters, pressure gauges, leak detectors) to identify electrical, mechanical, or refrigerant leaks.Maintenance: Perform routine preventive service like washing coils, clearing drains, changing filters, and lubricating moving parts.Repairs: Replace defective parts (compressors, capacitors, fans, and thermostats), braze pipes, and recharge refrigerants.Compliance & Safety: Adhere to safety regulations (like OSHA standards) and environmental laws regarding refrigerant handling.
