System Analyst (Strong Domain + API & Integration Focus)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced System Analyst (SA) with strong domain expertise and a solid background in API-based integrations and enterprise application delivery. The role requires a blend of system analysis, functional expertise, and technical understanding to translate business requirements into scalable system and integration solutions.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, architects, and development teams, ensuring requirement clarity, stakeholder alignment, and high-quality solution delivery.

Key Responsibilities

1. System & Requirement Analysis

- Engage with business stakeholders, product owners, and domain experts to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements.

- Translate business needs into:

- System Requirements

- Functional Specifications

- Technical Documentation

- Perform gap analysis between current-state and target-state systems and recommend optimal solutions.

- Ensure requirement clarity, completeness, and end-to-end traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

2. API & Integration

- Analyze and define RESTful API requirements, including:

- Request/Response Models

- Input Validations

- Error Handling

- Performance Considerations

- Develop and maintain API specifications and interface contracts.

- Support API design reviews while ensuring adherence to enterprise standards and best practices.

- Assess upstream and downstream system impacts resulting from integration changes.

- Collaborate with Solution Architects and Development teams on:

- Microservices Architecture

- Integration Patterns





- Enterprise API Design

3. Delivery & Collaboration

- Act as the primary liaison between:

- Business Teams

- Product Teams

- Development Teams

- QA Teams

- Architecture Teams

- Support:

- System Testing

- Integration Testing

- User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

- Ensure requirements are correctly implemented throughout the development lifecycle.

- Provide clarification and resolution for functional and integration-related issues.

- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including:

- Backlog Grooming

- Sprint Planning

- Sprint Reviews

- Serve as the functional lead for requirement discussions and solution alignment.

4. Documentation & Governance

- Create and maintain:

- System Design Documents

- Interface Specifications

- Process Flow Diagrams

- Data Flow Diagrams

- Ensure end-to-end traceability from business requirements through development and testing.

- Support compliance, audit, and governance activities where applicable.

Required Qualifications & Experience

- 4–12+ years of overall IT experience with a robust focus on System Analysis and Integration.

- Proven experience in enterprise application delivery and system design.

- Strong domain expertise (Healthcare preferred).

- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

- Strong stakeholder communication and requirements management skills.
