Key Responsibilities

Material Management & Logistics

- Procurement Support: Coordinate with project managers and purchase departments to forecast material needs and prevent stockouts of critical civil and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) items.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect incoming supplies, ensure they meet project specifications, and process debit notes or returns for damaged goods.
- Equipment Tracking: Manage the lifecycle of expensive tools, machinery, and survey instruments, ensuring routine maintenance and tracking on-site.

Inventory & Cost Control

- Inventory Control: Implement strict inventory management systems to track raw materials (steel, cement, aggregates) and prevent shrinkage, pilferage, or wastage.
- Reconciliation: Perform regular cycle counts and conduct physical stock audits, reconciling them against theoretical consumption rates and project budgets.
- Surplus Management: Identify and list surplus or salvaged materials for reallocation, return to vendors, or resale.

Team Leadership & Management

- Staff Supervision: Lead a team of 7–10 project store keeper, Scheduled work, set team targets, conduct performance reviews, and foster a culture of safety and accountability.



Delegate tasks for stock replenishment, store merchandising, and store.
- Documentation: Maintain meticulous records of delivery challans, goods received notes (GRN), and material issue slips.
- Reporting: Generate regular reports on material consumption, inventory valuation, and site expenditures to assist in cost reporting

Core Qualifications & SkillsRequired

- Experience: 10 years preferably experience within construction supply and building materials.
- Software: Proficiency with Inventory Management Systems (IMS), Point of Sale (POS) tools, and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Leadership: Strong communication, conflict resolution, and staff delegation abilities.

Preferred

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
