- Registration: Must hold an active, unencumbered Registered Nurse and Registered Midwife (RN/RM) license with your State Nursing Council.
- Experience: Candidates are generally required to have 8 to 15 years of total nursing experience, including a minimum of 2–5 years serving in a supervisory capacity (e.g., as Assistant Nursing Superintendent, Head Nurse, or Ward In-Charge).
- Administrative Skills: Many institutions prefer additional qualifications in hospital management, such as a Post-Basic Diploma in Nursing Administration or an MBA in Healthcare Management.
