Job Description – Food Technologist

- Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time || 5 Days (Alternate Saturdays off)
- Qualification: B.Tech/M.Tech in Food Technology

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled Food Technologist to support product development, process optimization, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in food manufacturing, with strong expertise in Recent Product Development (NPD) and Research & Development (R&D;).

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and improve food products and manufacturing processes.
- Lead and support New Product Development (NPD) from concept to commercialization.
- Conduct R&D; activities, including formulation development, ingredient evaluation, and product optimization.
- Provide technical support for product trials, scale-up, and production.
- Conduct product evaluations, process validation, and shelf-life studies.
- Ensure compliance with FSSAI, HACCP, GMP, and other food safety standards.
- Prepare technical documentation, SOPs,



product specifications, and trial reports.
- Coordinate with Quality, Procurement, and cross-functional teams.
- Troubleshoot production and quality-related issues and recommend process improvements.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience in New Product Development (NPD) and Research & Development (R&D;).
- Expertise in food formulation, ingredient functionality, and product optimization.
- Strong knowledge of food processing technologies and manufacturing processes.
- Good understanding of FSSAI regulations, HACCP, GMP, and quality management systems.
- Experience in conducting product trials, scale-up, shelf-life studies, and process validation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team.
