Accountant – Detailed Job Description, KRA & KPIJob Purpose

To manage project-wise accounting, statutory compliance, vendor payments and cost monitoring for mining, earthmoving and transportation operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Record all purchase, sales, journal and payment entries in ERP/Tally on a daily basis.

· Verify purchase orders, GRNs, vendor invoices and supporting documents before booking expenses.

· Maintain project-wise, site-wise and equipment-wise accounting records.

· Monitor diesel purchases, spare parts expenses, repair & maintenance costs and labour contractor bills.

· Prepare vendor payment proposals and reconcile vendor/customer ledgers.

· Perform bank, cash and petty cash reconciliations.

· Support GST, TDS, audit and statutory compliance.





· Prepare monthly MIS including project profitability, equipment cost and outstanding reports.

· Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, HR and Site Incharges for documentation and approvals.

· Maintain proper filing of vouchers, invoices and statutory records.
