Project Engineer (MEP)

· Identify and track MEP contracting opportunities through consultants, builders, PMC networks and online portals like Projects today.

· Handle end-to-end tendering process including RFQs, pre-qualification, and bid submissions.

· Prepare detailed BOQs, cost estimates, and techno-commercial proposal.

· Analyze tender drawings, specifications, and contract conditions.

· Coordinate with design, estimation, procurement, and execution teams for accurate costing and technical compliance.

· Follow up for bid clarifications, negotiations, and order finalization.

· Support in rate analysis, vendor quotations, and subcontractor evaluation.

· Maintain robust relationships with consultants, architects, PMCs, and developers.

· Maintain MIS reports for tenders, leads, and order status.

Key Skills Required:

· Strong understanding of MEP contracting scope and execution methodology.

· Knowledge of tendering, BOQ preparation, and rate analysis.





· Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings and specifications.

· Familiarity with vendor market rates and subcontracting practices.

· Good communication, negotiation, and client coordination skills.

· Proficiency in MS Excel (rate analysis), Word, and basic estimation tools.

Preferred Attributes:

· Exposure to commercial, residential, or industrial MEP projects.

· Ability to work under tight deadlines for tender submissions.

· Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering.
