Job Summary

The Junior Engineer – Heat Treatment is responsible for supporting the daily operation of heat treatment processes, ensuring product quality, monitoring furnace parameters, maintaining process documentation, and complying with safety and quality standards.

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and control heat treatment processes such as hardening, tempering, annealing, normalizing, and carburizing.

Set and verify furnace parameters, including temperature, cycle time, and atmosphere.

Ensure products meet specified hardness and metallurgical requirements.

Monitor furnace loading and unloading activities to optimize productivity.

Maintain heat treatment process records and production reports.

Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance departments to ensure smooth operations.

Assist in troubleshooting furnace and process-related issues.

Support preventive maintenance activities for furnaces and related equipment.

Ensure compliance with quality systems, SOPs, and work instructions.

Follow 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Ensure adherence to all safety, environmental, and statutory regulations.





Train and guide operators on standard operating procedures and safe work practices.

Required Skills

Knowledge of heat treatment processes and furnace operations.

Understanding of metallurgical concepts and hardness testing.

Ability to read engineering drawings and process specifications.

Basic knowledge of quality tools and inspection methods.

Positive problem-solving and analytical skills.

Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word).

Experience

1–3 years in Heat Treatment operations (Automobile / Engineering Manufacturing)

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Metallurgical, or Production Engineering
- prepare IATF audit documentations like production & quality related
- daily & monthly base prepare process related documents

Pay: ₹16,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
