Responsibilities:
- Perform and interpret diagnostic imaging studies, including X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography.
- Generate comprehensive, accurate, and timely radiology reports for clinical teams and referring physicians.
- Collaborate with physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal imaging protocols and diagnostic accuracy.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment within safety and quality standards.
- Participate in quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives for imaging procedures and reporting.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in radiological techniques, safety protocols, and clinical guidelines.
- Contribute to teaching and training activities for residents, interns, and medical students under supervision.
- Ensure strict adherence to patient privacy regulations (HIPAA/GDPR) and hospital compliance standards.
Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Radiology (MD Radiodiagnosis or DMRD).
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
- Proficiency in interpreting X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI, and Mammography imaging studies.
- Solid understanding of anatomical and pathological imaging findings.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and ability to work under pressure.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Basic knowledge of PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems) and RIS (Radiology Information Systems).
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced clinical environment with rotating shifts and on-call responsibilities.
- Experience or training in pediatric or emergency radiology is a plus.
