Job Summary
We are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Manager – Merchandising (D2C Analyst) to support the D2C merchandising function for a leading kidswear brand. The ideal candidate should have solid merchandising fundamentals, excellent Excel skills, trend awareness, and the ability to support end-to-end product and ecommerce operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze sales, inventory, stock ageing, and product performance to support business decisions.
- Assist in assortment planning and seasonal range development using market and sales insights.
- Maintain SKU masters, style codes, pricing sheets, and product data accuracy.
- Support product uploads, content management, pricing updates,
and promotional activities across D2C platforms.
- Coordinate with marketing and ecommerce teams for product launches, campaigns, and sales events.
- Conduct competitor and market research on trends, pricing, and bestselling products.
- Prepare weekly MIS reports on sales, inventory health, category performance, and margins.
- Collaborate with design, production, warehouse, and customer care teams to ensure smooth product lifecycle management.
- Maintain merchandising trackers, calendars, sample records, and documentation.
Requirements
- Fresher to 1 year of experience in Merchandising, Ecommerce, Retail, or D2C operations.
- NIFT graduate preferred (Fashion Design, Textile Design, Fashion Communication, or Fashion Management).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
