Responsibilities:
- Administer general and regional anaesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures in the operating theatre.
- Monitor and manage patient vital signs throughout anaesthesia and post-operative recovery.
- Perform and manage airway interventions, including intubation, extubation, and use of advanced airway devices.
- Provide critical care support in the ICU, including ventilator management, haemodynamic monitoring, and emergency interventions.
- Assist in the management of acute pain through regional anaesthesia techniques and multimodal analgesia protocols.
- Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless perioperative care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, anaesthesia charts, and ICU progress notes.
- Participate in emergency response teams and manage critical incidents in OT and ICU settings.
- Stay updated with clinical guidelines,



safety protocols, and emerging best practices in anaesthesia and critical care.

Requirements:
- MBBS degree with a strong academic record and completion of internship.
- Completion of or active pursuit of postgraduate training in Anaesthesia (MD/DM in Anaesthesia) or equivalent.
- Proficiency in ICU procedures including central line insertion, arterial line monitoring, and ventilator management.
- Hands-on experience and familiarity with operating theatre protocols, sterile techniques, and anaesthesia equipment.
- Strong understanding of pharmacology, especially anaesthetic agents, analgesics, and emergency drugs.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and decision-making skills under pressure.
- Ability to work versatile shifts, including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as required.
- Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (NMC) and state medical council.
