Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical examinations and medical assessments for infants, children, and adolescents.
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal disorders, developmental delays, and metabolic diseases.
- Perform routine growth and development monitoring, including tracking height, weight, head circumference, and developmental milestones.
- Administer and manage pediatric immunization schedules in accordance with national and institutional guidelines.
- Provide timely and effective care during pediatric emergencies, including respiratory distress, seizures, trauma, and shock.
- Collaborate with NICU and PICU teams in the management of critically ill newborns and pediatric patients.
- Deliver evidence-based parent counseling on nutrition, feeding practices, behavioral development, and preventive health strategies.




- Maintain accurate and confidential medical records using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
- Participate in hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and pediatric health outreach programs.
- Stay updated with the latest clinical guidelines, research, and best practices in pediatrics through continuous career development.

Requirements
- MBBS degree with a recognized postgraduate qualification in Pediatrics (MD/DM in Pediatrics) or equivalent.
- Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI) or relevant state medical council.
- Demonstrated knowledge of pediatric diagnosis, treatment protocols, and emergency management.
- Hands-on experience in child health assessment, immunization programs, and growth monitoring.
- Familiarity with NICU/PICU protocols and procedures for neonatal and pediatric critical care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust with children and parents.
