Job Title: IT System Administrator

Reports To: IT Manager / Head of IT

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor and maintain company networks, servers, and systems to ensure optimal performance.

Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software aligned with organizational goals.

Implement and manage IT governance and security protocols, including compliance with ISO27001 standards.

Manage user accounts, access controls, and handle IT-related troubleshooting and outages.

Perform diagnostics and debugging procedures to resolve issues and improve system efficiency.

Develop and document standard operating procedures, backup strategies, and data recovery protocols.

Build and maintain an internal IT knowledge base, including manuals, wikis, and process documentation.

Provide IT support and mentorship to development teams and other departments.

Stay current with emerging IT trends and apply best practices to administration and security.

Deliver training and onboarding for new technologies and internal systems across departments.

Qualifications & Experience

-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field OR proven experience as a System or Network Administrator.

Certifications such as AWS, Microsoft (MCSA/MCSE), or Cisco (CCNA/CCNP) preferred.

-
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar IT administration role.

Proficient in MS365 administration, including user management and integrations.

Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, networking, and system security practices.

Hands-on experience with Windows, Linux (Ubuntu), and MacOS platforms.

Knowledge of Linux server configuration and command-line tools.

Exceptional communication skills in spoken and written English.

Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
