Key Responsibilities:
- The role holder is responsible for liaisoning with and maintaining relationships with government authorities, bureaucrats, politicians and other interest groups and leverage these relationships as and when needed
- The role holder is also responsible for all regulatory affairs such as obtaining necessary permissions, clearances and licenses necessary for the implementation of projects.
- Ensure timely reports to the Management on latest political developments
- Ensure that any statutory and regulatory compliances regarding the implementation of a project are met smoothly within deadlines
- Liaise with various functions to ensure drafting & vetting compliance related documents
- Implement regulatory affairs policies and procedures to ensure that regulatory compliance is maintained or enhanced in the company
- Keep abreast with legislation, guidelines and practices relevant to the company and ensure compliance standards are met at all times
- Provide responses to external regulatory agencies as and when needed
- Commission or undertake relevant market research
- Communicate regulatory information to multiple departments and ensure that information is disseminated and interpreted correctly
- Ensure execution of any form of emergency management and contingency planning at the Project site
- Provide support to the Architectural & Design team for any Planning approval related compliances and liaisons
- Provide support to the Operations team for any license / permission clearance related compliances and liaisons
COMPETENCIES & Criteria:
- Well versed with MS Office
- Well versed with MS Office
- Well versed with latest court decisions and market intelligence
- Well versed with local language apart from English
- Should have well established networks with the bureaucrats office
- Should understand Real estate related terminology.
