Role Description
The Field Technician is a full-time, in office role based in Mumbai, responsible for providing hands-on technical support in data centers and customer locations. Daily tasks include installing, configuring, and maintaining servers, network devices, and related hardware, as well as performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance. The role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and network issues, executing break/fix activities,



and supporting upgrades and replacements of equipment. The Field Technician will also assist with basic data recovery tasks, follow cybersecurity and safety guidelines, and document all work performed in accordance with company procedures. Collaboration with remote support teams and clear communication with clients are essential aspects of the role.

Qualifications
Strong understanding of server and network hardware, including routers, switches, and cabling, and the ability to perform installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Hands-on experience with data center operations, remote hands services, break/fix support, and equipment upgrades.
Basic knowledge of data recovery processes, backup practices, and cybersecurity principles relevant to on-site technical work.
Ability to use diagnostic tools and follow technical documentation to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
