Major Activity 1
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code under the guidance of senior team members and follow coding standards and best practices.
Use Git and Azure DevOps pipelines for source control, build management, and deployment activities
Major Activity 2
Participate in peer code reviews and learn from feedback shared by senior developers and team leads.
Support application performance improvement activities through efficient coding and optimization techniques.
Major Activity 3
Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile/Scrum ceremonies.
Provide regular updates on assigned tasks and ensure timely completion of development activities.
Continuously learn new technologies, tools, and development practices to enhance technical skills and contribute effectively to the team.
Key Decisions / Dimensions
Making decisions on validation logic, input sanitization, and security practices to prevent vulnerabilities.
Implementing effective error-handling mechanisms and deciding on logging strategies for easier debugging and monitoring.
Identifying bottlenecks and applying caching, asynchronous processing, or query optimization to enhance performance.
Major Challenges
The role involves working within tight deadlines while learning to deliver high-quality solutions. It requires adapting to current and evolving technologies, as well as gaining experience in handling moderately complex systems. It also involves developing ownership of assigned tasks end-to-end over time.
