Position Summary

The EHS Officer is responsible for ensuring compliance with all environmental, health, and safety regulations within the manufacturing facility. The role focuses on accident prevention, statutory compliance, risk assessment, and fostering a robust safety culture across the plant.

Key Responsibilities
Safety Management
Implement and monitor workplace safety programs and procedures.
Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments (RAC).
Ensure compliance with the Factories Act, safety standards, and internal policies.




Identify unsafe conditions and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
Investigate accidents, near misses, and incidents; submit detailed reports.
Environmental Management
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (KSPCB / PCB norms, air & water consents, waste management).
Monitor hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal.
Implement environmental protection initiatives (energy saving, water conservation, emissions control).
Maintain environmental records and documentation for audits.
Health & Occupational Safety
Conduct health risk assessments for employees.
Coordinate periodic medical check-ups and occupational health programs.
Ensure proper usage of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
Monitor workplace hygiene and ergonomic conditions.
Statutory Compliance
Ensure compliance with:
Factories Act
ESI, Workmen Compensation (for injuries)
Environmental laws (Air, Water, Hazardous Waste Rules)
Liaise with government a
