We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager – Material Inward to oversee end-to-end inbound material operations while ensuring inventory accuracy, process compliance, and efficient warehouse management. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the receipt, verification, storage coordination, and documentation of high-value inventory and materials. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory controls, ERP systems, and quality compliance to ensure seamless inward processes and asset protection.
Working closely with procurement, warehouse, quality, finance, logistics, and inventory teams, you will play a key role in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing discrepancies, and driving continuous process improvements. The position is best suited for professionals with proven experience in warehouse management, inventory control,



and handling high-value products in a structured and compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the complete material inward process, including receiving, verification, documentation, and inventory recording.
Verify incoming consignments against purchase orders, invoices, delivery challans, and transfer documents to ensure accuracy.
Ensure accurate weighing, counting, inspection, and recording of incoming materials using standard operating procedures.
Prepare and process Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) within defined timelines while maintaining complete documentation.
Update inventory transactions accurately in ERP and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure proper storage, product identification, barcode/RFID tagging, and inventory traceability.
Maintain inventory accuracy through regular reconciliation, stock verification, and compliance with inventory control procedures.
