Purpose :

The Product Manager Procurement is accountable for the end-to-end ownership of a digital product within Global Digital Services (GD). The role ensures that the product delivers sustainable business value for Procurement by aligning product strategy, delivery, operations, and people development with BASF’s digital strategy and GD priorities.

Accountabilities :

Own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with GD, Procurement, and business objectives.
Hold full accountability for the complete product lifecycle (ideation, build, run, optimize, retire).




Decide on priorities, scope, and release content based on value, risk, cost, quality, compliance, and sustainability.
Ensure transparency on product status, roadmap, risks, and key decisions within GD governance.

Key Tasks :

Act as the primary interface between business and IT for the assigned product.
Collaborate with business owners, architects, security, compliance, finance, procurement, and platform teams.
Lead the product team, fostering accountability, collaboration and high performance while
Translate product strategy into clear objectives and outcomes aligned with GD priorities.
Drive continuous improvement based on business feedback and performance metrics.

People & Talent Development :

Develop team members in line with GD Role Profiles and Development Paths.
Identify strengths, development needs, and career opportunities.
Enable learning, upskilling, and knowledge sharing
