The Sewing Trainee will undergo hands-on training in garment stitching operations, machine handling, quality standards, and production processes. The trainee will learn to operate sewing machines efficiently while maintaining safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Learn and perform basic sewing operations as per training guidelines.
* Operate industrial sewing machines under supervision.
* Understand garment construction and stitching techniques.
* Follow production instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
* Maintain required quality standards in stitching.
* Report machine issues or production concerns to the supervisor.
* Ensure proper handling of fabrics, trims, and accessories.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
* Follow factory safety rules and regulations.
* Participate in skill development and continuous improvement programs.
Required Qualifications:
* Minimum 8th / 10th Pass (preferred).
* Basic reading and writing skills.
* Prior sewing experience is not mandatory.
* Willingness to learn and work in a garment manufacturing environment.
