About the Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented L2 Network & Security Engineer to join our infrastructure and security operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the seamless operation of our network and security setting by handling escalations, managing change requests, and proactively maintaining infrastructure performance and compliance.



The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across a broad range of technologies including firewalls, load balancers, proxies, VPN, wireless networks, and security appliances.

Key Responsibilities:
Daily Operational Oversight:
Supervise and ensure completion of L1 activities including:
Daily health checks of network/security infrastructure.
Monitoring and reporting VPN access and user activities.
Provisioning and revoking VPN access.
Managing support mailboxes and ticket escalations.
Maintaining and updating SOPs for incident handling.
Assisting with basic hardware support and replacements.

Engineering & Support Activities:

Review and implement daily firewall and proxy change requests.
Analyze, open, and clean up firewall flows; remove unused or obsolete rules.
Configure and maintain firewall routes, NAT rules, DDoS protections, and IP reservations.
