Job Purpose:
Coordinates logistical movements, ensuring cost-effective and timely transportation solutions to meet operational demands by: 1) arranging and monitoring transport services for goods and assets, 2) maintaining auditable import/export records in compliance with customs regulations, 3) resolving discrepancies in transport documentation with brokers and agents, 4) supporting customs audits and QHSSE requirements, 5)
maintaining effective administrative control of the shipping and movement of company and third-party assets, and 6) ensuring relevant customs approvals and authorizations are maintained.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Logistics Manager in completing customs, port, and octroi formalities.
- Coordinate transportation, loading, and unloading of equipment at ports and project sites.
- Liaise with customs, port authorities, and other government officials as required during the movement of personnel and equipment to and from project sites.
- Prepare and manage vehicle transit documents.
- Coordinate and manage courier arrangements.
- Raise Purchase Requisitions (PRs) and support procurement-related activities.
- Process bill verification and bill passing through the IFS system.
- Actively participate in and support compliance with the company’s Management Systems, particularly Quality and HSE req
