Chief Financial Officer (CFO) – EOGEPL

Reporting : Chief Executive Officer – EOGEPL

Essar Management Grade : M-02

Location : Mumbai

Role Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) will lead EOGEPL’s finance function and must possess a strong understanding of the oil, gas, and energy sector. The CFO will drive financial strategy, capital structure, funding, reporting, and governance across all projects.
The CFO will be accountable for raising capital both equity & debt and will be building and strengthening relationships with financial institutions within India and overseas. The role will play a critical part in developing the company’s long-term financial roadmap and ensuring solid financial governance to support business growth.
The position requires a strong background in corporate finance, project finance, capital markets, banking relationships, financial consolidation, and strategic finance, particularly within large, asset-intensive or infrastructure-driven sectors such as oil & gas, power, energy transition,



or industrial enterprises
The CFO will partner closely with the CEO, Board and Group leadership to support growth, investments, and long-term value creation.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Strategy & Development
- Develop and lead the capital raising and overall funding strategy of the company, including formulation of a comprehensive Finance Plan.
- Lead the development and implementation of the company’s immediate, short-term, and long-term financial management strategy.
- Drive profitability, cash flow optimization and ROI improvement, while leading cost efficiency and working capital strategies

Banking relationships management
- Act as the company’s key representative to major Indian and global banks and financial institutions.
- Engage PE funds, sovereign funds, infrastructure investors and lenders
- Lead lender negotiations, refinancing and covenant management and represent company with rating agencies
