Job Description:
Job Summary
We are seeking a highly versatile Senior Enterprise Technology Engineer to support a critical Trade Compliance transaction monitoring platform within the ST&S; organisation. This is a hands-on, multi-disciplinary role spanning business analysis, test leadership, and platform/infrastructure support. The successful candidate will take ownership across the full delivery lifecycle — translating regulatory and surveillance requirements into system changes, validating complex data integrations and alerting behaviour, and ensuring the ongoing stability and integrity of a data-driven monitoring platform operating in a real-time or near real-time environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Act as the primary link between business stakeholders and engineering teams, translating regulatory and monitoring requirements into implementable system changes
- Analyse and define surveillance scenarios, alert logic, and data mappings to ensure correct platform behaviour
- Validate and monitor inbound data feeds,
ensuring completeness, timeliness, and structural integrity across multiple upstream systems
- Lead end-to-end testing activities, including functional, integration, and regression testing for platform changes and upgrades
- Own user acceptance testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuring outputs are accurate, auditable, and aligned to regulatory expectations
- Investigate and resolve production issues, including data gaps, delayed processing, and unexpected system behaviour
- Monitor platform health across data ingestion, processing, and alerting components, proactively identifying risks and failures
- Support onboarding of current data sources, exchanges, or business entities into the platform
- Configure and maintain platform components such as rules, alerts, workflows, and user access models
- Work closely with infrastructure and vendor teams to maintain stability across cloud-hosted environments and int
