Description:
Project Manager responsibilities include right from bidding process including cost estimation, submitting competitive offer, Order acceptance, plan, mobilise and direct projects of medium to high complexity and scale from definition to closure. They play a key role in delivering our global strategy. They are typically responsible for the end-to-end delivery of a project, or a work-stream of a larger project, proactively balancing scope, schedule, budget, risks, outcomes and benefits for the Substations and Power distribution projects including CIVIL works on Turnkey basis for various applications.
Principal responsibilities:
Project Manager shall be the assumed Proposal Manager during the bidding phase.
Responsible for robust bidding processes to deliver the best in quality and cost-competitive offers for the Substations, Power distribution projects along with Project Management tasks of assigned projects.
Planning effectively around delivery constraints and optimising the plan to maximise benefits and minimise risk. Ensuring the baselined scope, requirements, advantages, schedule, and budget are managed.
Proactively monitoring project execution to effectively identify risks/issues/dependencies as they arise throughout the project lifecycle.
Collaborating and building positive stakeholder relationships, providing regular updates, involving other stakeholders for all key project plans, commitments and changes including requirements.
Managing change adoption to ensure the change is well received, contributing to benefits realisation.
Project Managers are expected to do:
Proposals- Studying specifications & Preparation of detailed techno-commercial offer, including inclusion/ exclusion list & assumptions for the new enquiries.
Estimation- Floating RFQ’s, Technical discussion, evaluation and negotiation with Suppliers & Sub-contractors, field device s
