Job Title: Analyst - Reconciliation

About Business line/Function: Market and Financing Services (MFS) business line provides a range of solutions to support the increasingly sophisticated requirements of institutional investors, alternative asset managers and financial intermediaries. These include Securities Lending (Agency and Principal), Foreign Exchange (On demand FX, Auto FX, Passive Currency Overlay), Triparty Service and a variety of Financing solutions.

Position Purpose: The Candidate will be responsible for taking care of the Back Office operations of Reconciliation function for across region. He / she will be responsible for performing daily tasks related to stock and cash recon, matching breaks, working with multiple teams on clearing accounting breaks, etc. He/ She will be working closely with offshore management, Account managers, internal and external stakeholders as part of their daily tasks with local reporting in Chennai. The staff will be working closely with all internal teams, Paris and local management,



as part of their daily BAU. Candidate with positive functional understanding of the Security Lending business and Reconciliation function.

Responsibilities

Direct Responsibilities

Responsible for full back office operational functions of Stock and cash reconciliation processes for across region (APAC/EMEA/AMER) such as Nostro, stock depot recon, accounting & journal posting and ensuring doing root cause analysis of breaks as 1st level of control
Working with internal teams to ensure the breaks and accounting breaks are cleared as agreed SLA.
Enable brain-storming sessions with manager and team to identify recurring issues that impact Client and their desired level of services
Looking for opportunities to automate any manual reconciliation and also putting governance for all type of recon breaks.

Contributing Responsibilities

Escalating exceptions to appropriate processing team for resolution.
