We are expanding our portfolio in veterinary healthcare and are looking for an experienced category leader to drive strategic growth across vaccines, animal nutrition, and veterinary medical equipment.
Role Overview
The Senior Category Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the Vaccines, Animal Nutrition, and Veterinary Equipment categories. The role requires deep expertise in category strategy, supplier partnerships, product portfolio management, tender business, and commercial execution across India, with exposure to GCC and African markets being an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute category strategies for veterinary vaccines, animal nutrition products, and veterinary medical equipment.
Drive sourcing,



pricing, portfolio expansion, and profitability for assigned categories.
Build and manage strategic relationships with manufacturers, distributors, and key suppliers.
Lead negotiations on commercial terms, pricing, contracts, and annual business plans.
Identify new product opportunities and market trends to strengthen the category portfolio.
Work closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Operations teams to achieve revenue and margin objectives.
Develop go-to-market strategies for recent product launches and category expansion.
Manage forecasting, inventory planning, and demand generation to ensure product availability.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and emerging market opportunities.
Lead category performance reviews using commercial and operational KPIs.
Tender Management
Possess strong knowledge of Government and Institutional Tender business across India.
