Position: Executive - Sales

About The Role

Inkarp Instruments is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Sales Executive to manage and grow business for premium scientific instrument product lines including Hitachi and Bruker. The role involves handling customers in academia, research institutes, and industrial segments across the Chennai–Kancheepuram region.

Key Responsibilities

Promote and sell scientific instruments (analytical, spectroscopy, microscopy, etc.) from Hitachi and Bruker product lines
Identify and develop new customers in universities, R&D; labs, pharmaceutical, chemical, and material science industries
Manage existing customer relationships and ensure repeat business
Conduct product demonstrations and coordinate technical discussions with application specialists
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
Prepare and submit sales forecasts, reports, and territory plans
Coordinate with service and application teams for installation, training,



and post-sales support
Participate in exhibitions, seminars, and customer workshops

Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biotechnology, Life Sciences) or Engineering
2–5 years of experience in scientific instrument sales or related B2B technical sales
Strong understanding of analytical instrumentation is preferred
Experience handling high-value capital equipment sales will be an advantage

Skills Required

Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Self-driven with solid target orientation
Good technical understanding and learning ability
Willingness to travel within assigned territory

Preferred Profile

Candidates with exposure to analytical instruments (LC, GC, spectroscopy, microscopy, etc.)
Prior experience working with research institutions, pharma, or industrial labs
