Role Overview
Experienced Mainframe Database Administrator responsible for managing, supporting, and optimizing IMS (DB/TM) and IDMS database environments. The role includes production support, performance tuning, incident management, and ensuring secure and efficient database operations within enterprise applications.

Key Responsibilities
• IMS/IDMS DB transformation to Cloud DB experience
· Administer, maintain, and support IMS DB/TM and IDMS databases
· Handle L2/L3 production support, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
· Monitor database performance, batch jobs, and system health; ensure stability and SLA adherence
· Perform database tuning, troubleshooting,



and optimization activities
· Support application enhancements, defect fixes, and system improvements
· Analyze data issues and support data integrity and consistency across systems
· Collaborate with application teams, vendors, and stakeholders for changes and releases
· Manage change, release, and configuration processes in controlled environments
· Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and operational standards

· Strong hands on experience with:
o IMS DB
o IDMS Database
