We are looking for a Murex Integration & Reporting Developer to design, develop, and support Murex-based integrations and Datamart reporting solutions for a leading banking client.
The role involves working on end-to-end data flow, including integration with external systems, data extraction, and reporting for trading, risk, and finance functions.
Key Responsibilities
Murex Integration
Design and develop integration solutions between Murex and external systems
Work on MxML workflows, APIs, and file-based integrations
Build and maintain interface layers for data exchange (inbound/outbound)
Handle real-time and batch-based integrations
Debug and resolve integration failures, data mismatches, and reconciliation issues
Murex Datamart Reporting
Develop and maintain Murex Datamart reports:
Trade reporting
P&L; reports
Risk & position reports
Build and manage:
Energetic tables
Report tables
Table feeders
Batches of extraction
Optimize report performance and batch runtimes
Data Processing & ETL:
Design ETL workflows within Murex Datamart
Use SQL / PL-SQL / stored procedures for:
Data transformation
Aggregation
Performance tuning
Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency
Production Support & Monitoring
Provide L2/L3 support for Murex integration and reporting issues
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and resolution
Monitor batch jobs and ensure SLA adherence
Handle incident management and outage coordination
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth workflows.
Document processes, configurations, and best practices.
Provide support and troubleshooting assistance for production and development environments.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
3 to 5 and 5 to 8 years of experience.
