The Corporate Finance team sits at the heart of OakNorth's financial operations, covering reporting, planning, and control across our UK and international entities. The team works closely with FP&A;, Treasury, Legal, Operations, and the business to ensure robust financial governance and continuous process improvement.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an experienced Finance Controllership skilled to join our Corporate Finance team.



In this role you will own end-to-end accounting and reporting across both internal and external requirements — working under IFRS and Indian GAAP — while leading a broad array of planning projects and process improvement initiatives that directly support OakNorth's growth ambitions.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Own day-to-day accounting, month-end closing, and periodic reporting in accordance with IFRS and Indian GAAP.
Manage end-to-end accounting, valuation, and bank reconciliations for complex financial instruments including Investments, Borrowings, Loans, Deposits, and Derivatives (hedging compliance).
Prepare Balance Sheet and P&L; items including prepayments, accruals, depreciation runs, intercompany entries, and other month-end journals.
Lead Fixed Assets and Intangible accounting, related schedules, and physical verifications; maintain General Ledger, vendor, and bank reconciliations.
Support Statutory and Internal audits, preparing schedules, responding to auditor queries, and drafting internal notes/memos for approvals and
