About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Database Architect to join our client’s team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex database systems that support high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust database architectures and data models.
- Define database standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Work with development teams to ensure database design aligns with business needs and application requirements.
- Implement high availability, scalability, and disaster recovery solutions.
- Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and storage tuning.
- Monitor database performance and security, ensuring compliance with data governance policies.




- Collaborate with stakeholders to define database strategies and roadmaps.
- Support data migration, transformation, and integration projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Expertise in database design, normalization, and denormalization techniques.
- Strong skills in performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
- Knowledge of ETL tools, data warehousing, and big data technologies is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud databases (AWS RDS, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL) is preferred.
- Other Requirements:
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Experience in database security, backup, and recovery strategies.

Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
