YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You will design and build reliable, high-performance backend services that power core Ride workflows including booking, dispatch, and real-time trip management
- You will contribute to the architecture and evolution of distributed, event-driven systems that operate reliably across a global network of markets and service types
- You will collaborate closely with product, operations,
and cross-functional engineering teams to translate complex mobility workflows into scalable and maintainable technical solutions
- You will own the development and improvement of internal services and shared libraries that raise the reliability and delivery speed of the Ride engineering team
- You will actively integrate AI coding tools such as Claude and Cursor into your daily engineering workflow, helping to embed AI-assisted development as a standard practice within the team
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- You hold a B.Tech, B.E, or Master's Degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
- You bring 4–6 years of hands-on backend engineering experience, ideally in cloud-native or distributed systems environments where scale and reliability were non-negotiable
- You have solid production level experience in at least two backend programming languages — Golang and Java are strongly preferred — and are comfortable working within a mode
