Survey Engineer
Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering – Mandatory
- Certification or training in Surveying / Total Station / AutoCAD / Survey Software preferred
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in construction surveying, preferably in high-rise building projects

Role Overview
The Survey Engineer will be responsible for carrying out surveying activities required for construction execution, including layout marking, level checking, and dimensional control of structural works.
The role ensures that construction activities are executed as per approved drawings, coordinates, and project benchmarks. The candidate will work closely with civil execution teams, tower incharges, and QA/QC teams to maintain survey accuracy during construction.
Key Responsibilities
Layout & Setting Out
- Perform layout and setting out of structural elements such as columns, shear walls, beams, and slabs as per approved drawings.
- Mark grid lines, column locations, and reference points using survey instruments.
- Ensure accurate positioning of construction elements at site.
Level Control
- Establish and maintain benchmarks and reference levels for construction activities.
- Check and monitor levels for excavation, footing, slabs, and structural works.
- Ensure construction work follows approved level tolerances.
Survey Execution
- Operate survey instruments such as Total Station, Auto Level, and Dumpy Level for site measurements.
- Assist in establishing survey control points and reference coordinates.
- Perform regular survey checks to ensure alignment and dimensional accuracy.
Coordination with Execution Teams
- Coordinate with tower incharges, engineers, and supervisors for survey requirements.
- Provide layout references for formwork, reinforcement, and concrete works.
- Support execution teams in resolving survey-related technical issues.
