Job Title: Maintenance Officer
Job Summary:
The Maintenance Officer is responsible for overseeing the technical operations, maintenance, and overall upkeep of a commercial building’s infrastructure. The role involves managing maintenance teams, coordinating with contractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with safety and statutory requirements, and maintaining productive building operations to provide a safe, functional, and comfortable environment for occupants and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintenance Management:
- Oversee maintenance and operation of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, BMS, fire safety, civil, and other building systems.
- Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance schedules.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of building system issues and emergencies.
- Coordinate with external contractors and service providers for repairs, servicing, and upgrades.

Team Leadership:
- Lead, supervise, and mentor the maintenance team.
- Plan duty rosters and assign daily maintenance tasks.




- Conduct performance evaluations and provide regular feedback and training.

Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure all building systems comply with local, state, and central regulations.
- Conduct routine safety inspections and address identified risks or hazards.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance activities, certifications, and repairs.

Energy Management:
- Monitor energy consumption and optimize system efficiency.
- Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainability measures.
- Track, analyze, and report energy usage and cost savings.

Budget and Cost Management:
- Prepare and manage the maintenance and utilities budget.
- Monitor expenses and approve maintenance-related expenditures.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising safety or quality.

Project Management:
- Plan and oversee capital improvement and renovation projects.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and contractors
