Accountabilities:
The Staff Backend Engineer will serve as a senior technical leader responsible for designing and implementing backend systems that strengthen software supply chain security. This role requires strong architectural judgment, hands-on engineering expertise, and the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.
- Define and drive the technical architecture for software supply chain security capabilities, including package policy enforcement, provenance generation, artifact signing, and malicious package detection.
- Design and implement backend services supporting secure software delivery workflows and enterprise-scale security requirements.
- Lead the development of capabilities aligned with software supply chain security standards, including SLSA Level 2 and Level 3 practices.
