- Lead design and development of scalable Core PHP applications
- Architect and maintain secure, high-performance backend systems
- Debug, refactor, and modernize legacy PHP applications
- Optimize database queries and overall system performance
- Conduct code reviews and mentor development team members
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
- Ensure compliance with security and healthcare standards (if applicable)
Education and experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years of hands-on PHP Application development experience
- Robust experience building enterprise-grade backend applications and APIs
- Proven experience debugging, maintaining, and modernizing legacy PHP systems
- Healthcare domain experience preferred (HIPAA-compliant systems is a plus)
