RPA Business Analyst
Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management | Automation & Analytics

POSITION SUMMARY

The RPA Business Analyst is responsible for identifying, analyzing, and documenting business processes suitable for Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Intelligent Process Automation (IPA). The role serves as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, operations teams, and technical teams, ensuring automation solutions deliver measurable business value and sustainable process improvements. The ideal candidate brings solid business process analysis skills, hands-on experience in automation initiatives, and a solid understanding of Healthcare Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Process Discovery & Automation Assessment
- Identify and evaluate automation opportunities across business functions and operational processes.
- Conduct process walkthroughs and stakeholder interviews to document current-state processes.
- Assess process suitability using RPA/IPA feasibility criteria and automation best practices.




- Prepare Automation Opportunity Assessments, business cases, and cost-benefit analyses (CBA).
- Recommend appropriate automation solutions based on process characteristics and business objectives.

Requirements Gathering & Process Documentation
- Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
- Create and maintain As-Is and To-Be process maps using tools such as Visio or Draw.io.
- Develop comprehensive Process Definition Documents (PDDs) covering business rules, process exceptions, control requirements, and functional specifications.
- Clearly articulate business problems, operational challenges, and automation opportunities for diverse audiences.

Stakeholder Management & Collaboration
- Collaborate with business users, SMEs, operations teams, process owners, RPA developers, analytics teams, and project managers.
- Facilitate requirements gathering, solution design, and process review workshop
