About the Project
SEHAT (Strengthening Essential Health Access and Treatment) is a pilot initiative to strengthen access to comprehensive primary healthcare services for vulnerable populations residing in urban slums of Raipur. The project aims to demonstrate a government-led, system-integrated model for doorstep diagnostics, teleconsultation, medicine delivery, referral linkage, and follow-up care by leveraging existing UPHCs, Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, frontline health workers, and local implementation partners. The pilot will be implemented in Raja Talab and Hirapur urban slum clusters in close coordination with the State Health Department, NHM, NUHM, District Health Administration,
and Raipur Municipal Corporation.
About the Position
The City Programme Coordinator, under the overall supervision of the Project Lead, will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational leadership for planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of project activities in the assigned intervention area. The coordinator will work closely with government stakeholders, UPHC teams, Urban Ayushman Arogya Mandirs, frontline health workers, and implementation partners to ensure timely implementation of project activities and achievement of project milestones.
The position will support implementation of the integrated doorstep healthcare delivery model, facilitate coordination among stakeholders, monitor programme performance, identify operational bottlenecks, and contribute to documentation and evidence generation to support future scale-up under the National Health Mission.
