Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Principal Systems Architect and Delivery Lead specializing in 4G/5G Stack-L1 and Radio engineering. In this role, you will drive the design, implementation, optimization, and delivery of physical layer software for our advanced wireless products across multiple variants of eNodeBs and gNodeBs, including vRAN, O-RAN, and custom platforms.

You will lead and mentor high-performance L1 teams, ensuring delivery excellence while interfacing with Radio/RF, L2, and fronthaul subsystems. Additionally, you will guide large-scale product development, sustenance, and customer support programs, collaborating closely with senior internal and external stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

Algorithm & Procedure Design: Design and implement LTE and 5G NR physical layer (PHY) algorithms and procedures.

Technical Team Leadership:



Review technical implementations and mentor high-performance L1 engineering teams toward delivery excellence.

Performance Optimization: Guide the team in optimizing L1 software for latency, throughput, and efficient CPU, DSP, GPU, and FPGA utilization.

Cross-Subsystem Interfacing: Coordinate integration and interfaces between the L1 stack and the Radio/RF, L2, and fronthaul subsystems.

PHY Debugging & Testing: Troubleshoot complex PHY layer issues using logs, IQ capture, and specialized lab equipment.

Program Delivery: Drive large-scale 4G/5G L1 product development, software sustenance, and customer support programs across vRAN, O-RAN, and custom gNodeB/eNodeB architectures.

Stakeholder Management: Maintain explicit, technical, and strategic communication with senior internal executives and external stakeholders.
