Position Overview:

The Publicist / Earned Media – Senior Executive is responsible for executing and supporting earned media initiatives that enhance brand visibility and strengthen the organization’s reputation in the behavioral health and healthcare space.

This role focuses on proactive media pitching, content development, journalist engagement, and securing consistent press coverage.



The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with hands-on experience in public relations execution and media outreach.

Responsibilities:

Earned Media Outreach

Identify and execute earned media opportunities for:
Service launches (e.g., TMS therapy, group therapy)
New clinic openings and expansions
Healthcare awareness campaigns and events
Industry trends and timely news opportunities
Build and maintain updated media lists (local, regional, healthcare trade)
Pitch stories via email, phone, and digital platforms
Follow up consistently to secure media coverage

Content Development

Draft press materials including:
Press releases
Media advisories
Pitch emails and story angles
Support creation of press kits (fact sheets, leadership bios, images, and media assets)
Coordinate with internal teams to:
Gather accurate information
Develop leadership quotes
Ensure brand messaging and compliance alignment
