HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM Administrator
Duration: 6–12 Month Contract
Location: Remote

We are seeking an experienced HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM Administrator to support, maintain, and optimize enterprise Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ALM administration, installation, configuration, upgrades, migrations, and ongoing platform support while ensuring high availability and performance. This role partners with QA, Development, Infrastructure, and DevOps teams to support SDLC processes across multiple projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Administer and maintain HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM environments, including Site Administration.
Perform installations, upgrades, patches, migrations, and setting refreshes.
Configure projects, user roles, permissions, workflows, templates, and customizations.
Support ALM modules including Requirements, Test Plan, Test Lab, Defects, and Dashboard & Analysis.
Develop workflow customizations using VBScript and manage business rules.
Integrate ALM with Jira, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, UFT, LoadRunner,



and ServiceNow.
Support LDAP/Active Directory, SSO, backups, disaster recovery, and performance monitoring.
Troubleshoot application, database, and user access issues while providing Level 2/3 support.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of HP ALM / Micro Focus ALM administration experience.
Strong knowledge of ALM installation, Site Administration, project management, workflow customization, and user administration.
Experience with SQL Server or Oracle databases, Windows Server, IIS, and SQL.
Experience with ALM upgrades, migrations, REST APIs, and CI/CD integrations.
Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Preferred: Experience with OpenText ALM, ALM Octane, PowerShell or Python scripting, cloud-hosted ALM environments, ITIL, and regulated industries such a
