Job Description

Responsibilities

- Collaborate with subject matter experts from various domains to develop and refine mathematical models for research projects.
- Suggest and formulate mathematical equations and methodologies to address specific research objectives.
- Work on complex mathematical problems, perform data analysis and interpret results to contribute to research findings.
- Work closely with research teams to design experiments, simulations, and data collection procedures.
- Assist in data cleaning, processing, and statistical analysis, ensuring the accuracy and reliability of research data.
- Contribute to the preparation of research reports, manuscripts, and presentations, incorporating mathematical insights.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in mathematical research methods and tools, applying them to ongoing projects.
- Participate in research discussions and brainstorming sessions.
- Provide guidance and support to junior researchers and interns as needed.

Requirements





- Master's or higher in Mathematics or a related field, with a strong mathematical foundation (M.Sc Maths, M.tech, M.E);
- Proficiency in mathematical modelling, equation formulation, and problem-solving.
- A solid understanding of statistical analysis, data manipulation, and mathematical software tools is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively with subject matter experts, researchers, and interdisciplinary teams.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills to address complex research problems.
- Solid communication and presentation skills to convey mathematical concepts to non-experts.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data analysis and research tasks.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with research methodologies, experimental design, and data collection processes.
- Knowledge of relevant mathematical literature and the ability to apply cutting-edge research techniques.
